Blackbutt Flooring

Blackbutt is one of the most common species of hardwood available. It is from the coastal region of New South Wales from Bega on the south coast up to Queensland. Its colour ranges from golden yellow to light brown, sometimes with a slight pinkish hue. It’s name came about from the effects on its lower trunk, which is dramatically darkened after a bushfire. Blackbutt is an extremely versatile timber.
